Don’t Snow the Goalie is a women’s hockey podcast that covers the NWHL, the CWHL and everything in between and is focused on treating women’s sports like sports.
The 24th episode saw Don’t Snow the Goalie welcome guest and Boston hockey wiz Sarah Connors of Stanley Cup of Chowder and the CWHL Boston Blades stats crew to the podcast to talk Pride, Blades, and everything Boston hockey.
After they kicked off the show, Hannah Bevis, Kate Cimini and Kate Reeher dove right into Boston Pride hockey, asking Connors about everything from the Pride’s biggest strengths and weaknesses to ways they could improve the game. The president of the Blake Bolden Fan Club, also known as Kate Reeher, made a surprise appearance. Bevis, Cimini and Reeher also talked about the Blades, discussing some of the improvements they’ve made and how their season went so far, as well as speculating about what next year could bring for the club.
Next all four hosts played coach again, talking about who they would ice for each respective NWHL team’s top lines. Hannah Bevis is going to be hired by Shelley Looney before the week is out.
The mailbag saw talk about college prospects, stopping the Pride, and potential landing spots for Amanda Kessel of the Minnesota Golden Gophers.
