DraftKings NHL DFS Lineup – April 6

There is a mini three game slate this evening with DraftKings still running satellites to the PGA $1 million dollar event that starts tomorrow, so don’t forget to get your entries in. The NHL season is closing but DFS is heating up for the playoffs with satellites to GPP’s that begin next week for a $1 and $3. Lets take a look at tonight’s games with the Flyers and Detroit game having the biggest playoff implications.

G: S. Mason, Philadelphia – $8,100
The Flyers have been one of the hottest teams since the beginning of the new year, and tonight is the biggest game of their season as they face off against a truly desperate Detroit team. Mason will bring his best game and 0.918 Save Percentage to shut down a Detroit team that lacks scoring depth.

D: M. Reilly, Toronto – $5,000
To bad it’s not November for Toronto as they are playing their best hockey of the season, even without James VanRiemsdyk and Nazem Kadri, who was suspended this week. Reilly logs a ton of ice time and has 8 goals and has dished out 27 assists this year, as well as playing on the second power play unit with Greening and Nylander. With 161 shots on goal and 117 blocked shots, Reilly is worth every penny.

D: S. Gostisbehere, Flyers – $6,400
The Flyer’s main defenseman will lead his team to a win tonight as he has been the number one player on the Flyers since joining the club early this season. Logging over 20 plus minutes every night, look for him to be a key cog in the Flyers win tonight.

W: W. Nylander, Toronto – $4,200
This kid will be a staple one day in the NHL with his smooth hands and hockey smarts. Only having played 19 games this year, Nylander sports 5 goals and 5 assists. Look for the second line to get on the board led by Nylander and Greening.

W: O. Bjorkstrand, Columbus – $3,200
Bjorkstrand has played 10 games this year and will look to prove why he belongs in the NHL. Three goals and 2 assists, he plays 17-plus minutes on average, and will be looking to impress coach Tortorella tonight.

W: W. Simmonds, Philadelphia – $6,700
Simmonds is a streaky player and has a hot hand that I am sticking with tonight. A player who imposes his physical will on defenseman in front of the net, Simmonds commands respect as he dishes out punishing checks and upper cuts followed up by silky smooth hands that score goals. One goal short of 30, Simmonds gets one tonight and prove that he is one of the best all around players in the league.

C: C. Greening, Toronto – $3,000
I am rostering two players from the second line and a defenseman from Toronto, looking for offense from them as a small stack-within-a-stack. I am looking for them to have great line matchup against Columbus, who gives up the second-most goals at even strength. Greening is another bright spot for the Leafs who have endured much too much darkness this year.

C: C. Giroux, Philadelphia – $7,200
Giroux leads his team into tonight’s matchup in Detroit. A huge four point swing is on the line. Giroux lives for these games and will have his A-game ready for the Wings tonight in Hockeytown.

Utility: B. Schenn, Philadelphia – $5,800
The final piece of the puzzle tonight, Schenn will help the Flyers take a big step towards solidifying a playoff spot. Twenty-five goals this year, Schenn has been an invaluable piece of the Flyers roster and will continue to add offense.
