DraftKings NHL DFS Line-Up for March 11

We have a mini DraftKings NHL slate tonight as the season winds down and teams start ramping up to the next gear. There are five games on hand tonight, so lets try to find the best value as we put together our team. We are 1-1 on the year now with our 50/50 lineups we have made and posted.

Trying out this format, lets continue with tonight’s team.

G- B. Bishop- Tampa Bay- $7,800
Tampa needs every point it can get with Boston breathing down its throat for first place. Bishop has a phenomenal 2.06 Goals Against Average and .926 Save Percentage. Tonight he’s facing a mediocre Flyers team that has problems scoring, ranking 21st as a team in total offense. I see Tampa besting the Flyers and getting a win tonight at home. Look for this game to be under five goals.

D- D. Keith- Chicago- $6,200
The former Norris Trophy winner has secured a first ballot spot in the Hall of Fame already and will dissect a sketchy Dallas defense tonight in Texas. Keith is a goal shy of 10 but has 33 assists and 112 sots this year. Let’s see if he gets number 10 tonight against the Stars as they struggle mightily on defense–especially the Penalty Kill.

D-J. Nakladal- Calgary- $2,700
Paired with Giordano and also seeing time on the second Power Play unit, Nakladal is in his 13th game with a single goals and helper and 13 shots on goal. There is tremendous upside to this game as Arizona is 28th in goals allowed as a team. Vegas likes this game to go over 5.5 goals, as do I. In order to fit in some of the big guns tonight, I had to play a few very inexpensive players in games that I thought there was tremendous upside for them on every level–who they play for, are paired with and if the are home or away.

W- S.Doan- Arizona- $4,500
Doan averages 3.0 FPPG for a great price because he always is such a sneaky threat playing on the third line and first Power Play unit for the Coyotes. Doan has 24 goals this year and has shown why he still plays at his age. Against a suspect Calgary defense, the second and third line match-ups are more favorable for Arizona, as it exudes talent in its younger players.

W- G. Hathaway- Calgary- $2,500
Here is one of the cheapest players available in the field, yet he has tremendous value tonight for our team in his matchup and position he plays in the team we construct. Hathaway does not have a single goal this year in only six games. The youngster has tallied two helpers as he plays on a line with Frolik and Backlund. Capitalizing off his talented team mates and finding his game is what I see happening tonight as this kid learns the ins and outs of the NHL for the rest of the season.

W- P. Kane- Chicago- $8,600
This man needs no introduction, leading the league with 39 goals this year and a whopping 242 shots on goal. Heading into Dallas tonight, Chicago and the first Power Play unit will face a terrible Penalty Kill and defense for that matter, that will ultimately lead to the demise of the Stars in the playoffs. Kane and Co. have their way in Dallas tonight, and win by three goals, one on the Power Play.

C-B. Richardson- Arizona- $3,000
Playing alongside Doan on the third line, Richardson does see Power Play time but average upwards towards 17 minutes a game. He has found the net this year with seven goals and has 17 assists to boot. Look for one of these bottom line to score a few against Calgary’s young kids on their bottom lines. Richardson will pick up the scraps from Doan tonight in Calgary.

C- S. Crosby- Pittsburgh- $7,800
“Sid the Kid” strolls into Columbus this evening to take on a team that is playing much better but still allowing goals. I see this game as maybe being the highest combined score of the net as I am not sure what Penguins defense will surface in Columbus. Sid has 28 goals and will look to get 30 against a team he likes to play against.

Utility- J. Gaudreau- $6,900
Gaudreau loves to play at home and is a different player there than on the road. Arizona’s defense can take a siesta every now and then and allow goals by the bushel. I see both team getting on the board and this game going well over the 5.5 goal mark as Vegas predicts. Gaudreau brings 27 goals to the table tonight so I definitely want exposure to this game on both side but most importantly, through Johnny the kid.
