Last night, I put yesterday’s lineup into the Sniper NHL GPP on DraftKings and finished in the top 10% of 10,000 players. Hopefully some of you out there cashed in as well.

Tonight on DraftKings is the $75K Tuesday Special Championship with a top prize of $10,000 and 4300 entries and an entry fee of $20. It’s worth putting at least one entry into, so I’ve constructed today’s lineup with this tournament in mind.

G: J. Reimer, San Jose – $7,100
San Jose clinched a playoff spot last night with a big win over the Kings. Tonight they go to Vancouver to play the lowly Canucks whose season can’t end soon enough. Reimer will be looking to get his record of 14-14 over 0.500 for the season. His 2.42 goals against and 0.919 save percentage is still strong despite playing on Toronto most of the year. Look for San Jose to continue rolling along and beat up on Vancouver tonight.

D: K. Letang, Pittsburgh – $7,000
Letang faces off against a tired Buffalo team that got in late to Pittsburgh, after losing to the Red Wings last night 3-2. Expect Letang and the Penguins to take advantage of the schedule and jump all over Buffalo, who ranks 28th on 5-on-5 scoring. Letang gets on the board and helps his team get a much needed victory to keep pace with the Rangers.

D: J. Hanley, Montreal – $2,800
Hanley just started playing in the NHL last week with the Canadiens, and has averaged 3.4 fantasy points per game so far, which is ridiculous considering he has zero goals, four assists and nine blocked shots in just four games. Vegas likes this game to go over 5.5 goals. I want Hanley in there at a cheap price with a very high ceiling.

W: M. Janmark, Dallas – $3,300
Janmark is healthy and has been producing since his return. Fifteen goals on the year along with a healthy 17 minutes per game average, I like Dallas to put up points on a tired Nashville team that lost to Colorado last night.

W: P.Hornqvist, Pittsburgh – $6,700
“Horny” is a littly pricey but I think with Sid the Kid aginst a tired Buffalo team, the Penguins will try to finish them off in the first period. At a total of 234 shots on net this year, playing with Crosby has helped his game tremendously. Look for this line to have a great game tonight at home.

W: T.Brouwer, St. Louis – $ 4,000
Brouwer is one of those veterans who lives for the playoffs, and tonight will be a playoff atmosphere against a Colorado team playing its second game in as many nights. A poor puck possession team, Colorado loves to give their opponents a ton of scoring chances, which leads to goals against. I expect that tonight again, as Colorado almost blew a 3 goal lead last night, proving why they will be on the golf course in a few weeks.

C: P. Stastny, St. Louis – $4,700
I am looking to the second line to get some scoring done tonight against Colorado. On both the same line and power play unit as Brouwer, Stastny is skillful and a playmaker and will look to take advantage of turnovers by the Avalanche. One goal shy of 10 along with 34 helpers, I see Stastny getting number ten tonight at home and helping his team get the win.

C: J. Spezza, Dallas – $6,200
Spezza has had the hot the past few weeks and tonight I a lot of the same. Dallas is #31 in the NHL in goals for and #3 on the Power Play. Vegas likes this game to go upwards of 5.5 goals and tonight against a tired Nashville team, I see both teams putting up points.

Utility: S. Crosby, Pittsburgh – $8,200
Sid the Kid is my number one play tonight, and considering the tear he’s on, it’s likely he comes out of tonight’s match up with more than one point. With Crosby, Hornqvist, and Letang in my lineup, I’m looking for the Penguins to win big.
