Friedman On Schenn, Fowler, Semin Trade Possibities

Elliotte Friedman was on Edmonton’s 630 CHED on Friday afternoon.

On the name of a guy he thinks will get traded within the next month:

“Well, I think at some point Luke Schenn will.”

Really.

“Yeah, I do. At some point I think someone will take a chance on him. I do think that.

“I’m  very curious about Cam Fowler. You keep hearing his name out there. And I also do think Anaheim would love to get Shea Theodore in the NHL at some point, and right now they’re backed up pretty tight.

“I’m not as convinced on Cam Fowler in the next month, but I just keep hearing that there are – his name comes out here and there. So that’s an interesting one.

“Let’s see. Next month. I mean, just for reasons that he’s not playing, I wonder if Semin in Montreal is going to end up either on waivers or get traded somewhere, just because they’ve got no room for him in the lineup.

“Those are kind of the names that jump out in my head. I’m probably missing somebody, undoubtedly.”
